A lot of cases of euthanasia happen to people who are either mentally retarded, or are the patients of comma. In neither of these cases, the victim is able to decide for himself/herself. There are certain cases in which the personal will of the individual who is given euthanasia, is involved. From the religious perspective, this may not be a murder, but for sure is a suicide, which is again a grave sin. This sin is committed not only by the victim of euthanasia who opted for it, but also by the doctors who helped in making the victim’s wish come true. Therefore, religion condemns euthanasia whether or not the personal will of the victim is involved. From the ethical perspective, euthanasia is wrong as well.
